Amaysim breaking the range

12.27 pm Modest gains so far today with a rise of 16 to 6053. Resources are mixed with some strength in oil and weakness in the base metal miners. Galaxy and Lynas have eased back so no follow through for me there but OSH has done well and I sold a third out at 788, it's currently 785.
The small caps are mixed yet again with Cleanteq dipping after some weakness in the Canadian listing but Wattle has kicked up further so the net effect is pretty square.
I've been watching Amaysim for a while as it trades in an incredibly tight range around 200. It's risen to 205 on light volume so one to watch as reporting season could provide a positive catalyst.
I also like gold miner Saracen which has had a sharp 3 wave pullback after disappointing on costs recently. It's at support and shows signs of turning back up. Long at 151.5.

3.14 pm There's been media coverage of the great avocado shortage - storms in New Zealand, I think - and Costa Group is a beneficiary of that. Long today at 646 as it gathers pace after a longish congestion.

3.44 pm Long AYS at 209 as volume picked up and the breakout gathered strength.

4.18 pm A minor up day for me, mirroring the market which slipped from the earlier highs but managed a gain of 18 points to 6055.
Oil Search was the best large cap winner while the small caps gained very small but I was able to exit a couple of dud positions and put on new ones in AYS and CGC. It seems that the speccy end of the small caps is going nowhere and it's the ones with real businesses that are in focus at the moment, more medium cap really.
